Therapy for students
Therapy Services Tailored to Students
Oftentimes we look forward to college or graduate school and the experiences that student life has to offer. While it can be an exciting phase of life full of transformation and growth, aspects of student life can be tough and overwhelming. On top of the traditional stressors associated with this life phase, students are now coping with the stress and disappointment of attending school during a pandemic. This is where therapy comes in.
I offer a space to discuss challenges related to student life which may include:
-Navigating social dynamics
-Transitioning to a new environment and life stage
-Coping with anxiety or depression
-Managing academic pressures
-Exploring sexual orientation and gender identity
-Coping with changing family dynamics and expectations
-Sexual assault
-Exploring the complexities of identity and what you truly want
My training included working with students in Stanford Department of Psychiatry and the University of Connecticut Health in addition to working with students in community mental health settings and a clinic serving the LGBTQ-IA+ community.
